Meet Our Amazing Dance Teachers
Our highly trained, professional instructors encourage our dancers to improve their technique during every class.
LEA CRESWELL – DIRECTOR
In 2007 Lea Creswell opened the doors of Creswell Dance Academy (CDA) with a mission to instill mindfulness, respect and love for the tradition of dance and theatre in all her students. Starting with only 7 students in September she ended her first season with 37 students as word spread through The Beaches. Lea was gaining a reputation for her warm and encouraging nature but more importantly the focus she placed on technique and personal growth for each student. Over the past five years the artistic faculty has slowly increased and with each new addition, Lea carefully selects only those that withhold the same passion and professionalism that she started Creswell Dance Academy with. Today CDA is proud to have such diverse, professional staff whose training has come from all over the world and from some of the best training centers the world has to offer. In 2012 it was clear to Lea that in order to continue providing the best facilities, training, and support to the CDA families and The Beach community it was time to grow not only the school itself but the programs offered. The dream was to have a professional preparatory program in which CDA could help students reach their own dreams of being accepted into arts schools and starting a professional career in dance.
