Pre-Competitive is an exciting new program for young dancers who would like to have a class that eases them into the commitment of competitive dance.  Both technical and choreographic, the dancers will learn a challenging jazz routine in a fun and supportive environment.

Micro-Mini Pre-Competitive – Ages 4-6

Dancers in the Mini Pre-Competitive Program are required to take a minimum of 3 classes per week – 1 ballet class, 1 competitive jazz technique class and 1 competitive jazz choreography class.  Dancers will be required to compete in 1 competition with their group routine.

Mini Pre-Competitive – Ages 7-9

Dancers in the Mini Pre-Competitive Program are required to take a minimum of 3-4 classes per week – 1 or 2 ballet class (depending on the RAD level), 1 competitive jazz technique class and 1 competitive jazz choreography class. Dancers will be required to compete in 1 competition with their group routine.

Jr Pre-Competitive – Ages 10-12

Jr Pre-Competitive dancers are required to take a minimum of 4 classes per week – 2 ballet classes, 1 competitive jazz technique class and 1 competitive jazz choreography class. Dancers will be required to compete in 1 competition with their group routine.

COMPETITIVE DANCE PROGRAM

For the dancer that loves the thrill and excitement of performing on stage and wants to work towards a common goal with their team, our full Competitive Program is perfect. These classes help our students gain the strength, technique, and endurance needed for the technical and energetic routines. our goal is to ensure our young dancers experience competition in a supportive, fair and very active environment.

Mini & Jr Competitive Teams

Dancers in the Mini Competitive Team are required to take a minimum of 5 classes per week – 2 RAD Ballet, 1 jazz technique class, 1 jazz choreography class, 1 class of the directors choice.  Dancers will compete in 3-5 competitions per season and also have the option to compete with solos, duets, and trios.

Inter & Sr Competitive Teams

Dancers in the Inter & Sr Competitive teams are required to take a minimum of 7-8 classes per week – 2 RAD Ballet (Pointe class for RAD Inter Found, Inter & Adv levels), 1 jazz technique class, 1 jazz choreography class, 1 contemporary technique class, 1 tap technique class and 1 acro technique class. Dancers will compete in 3-5 competitions per season and also have the option to compete with solos, duets, and trios.

** Competitive dancers also have the option to compete in Musical Theatre, Tap and Acro.
