Established for over 10 yrs, Creswell Dance Academy is one of the best dance schools in The Beaches, Toronto. CDA offers a wide variety of dance classes, a successful competition program, and the opportunity to gain certification with Royal Academy Dance.

Classes emphasize musicality and body alignment, conditioning, stretch and strengthening, rhythm and stylization as well as fun and innovative choreography.

Our story

In 2007 Lea Creswell opened the doors of Creswell Dance Academy (CDA) with a mission to instill respect and love for the grand tradition of dance and theatre in all her students. Starting with only 7 students in September she ended her first season with 37 students as word spread through The Beaches. Lea was gaining a reputation for her warm and encouraging nature but more importantly the focus she placed on technique and personal growth for each student.

Why We Love Dance

Dancing provides many great benefits that we love. Dancing is a form of exercise and an expression of art, in that it appeals to the emotions. People come together through dance. Dancing is a great form of aerobic exercise since it works many muscles in the body. We love the art and the health benefits that dance brings into our lives.
